نیویارک : پرتگال کے وزیر خارجہ پالو رانجل نے اعلان کیا ہے کہ پرتگال نے ریاستِ فلسطین کو باضابطہ طور پر تسلیم کرلیا ہے۔
رائٹرز کی رپورٹ کے مطابق یہ بات انہوں نے نیویارک میں اقوام متحدہ میں پرتگال کے مستقل مشن کے صدر دفتر میں صحافیوں سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے کہی۔
اس موقع پر پالو رانجل کا کہنا تھا کہ فلسطین کو بطور ریاست تسلیم کرنا پرتگالی خارجہ پالیسی کی بنیادی، مستقل اور اصولی پالیسی کا عملی اظہار ہے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ پرتگال دو ریاستی حل کو ہی اس مسئلہ کا واحد راستہ سمجھتا ہے جو ایک منصفانہ اور پائیدار امن کی ضمانت دے سکتا ہے۔
پرتگالی وزیر خارجہ کا کہنا تھا کہ ہم غزہ میں فوری جنگ بندی کے حامی ہیں، حماس کا غزہ یا کسی بھی علاقے پر کسی قسم کا کنٹرول حاصل نہیں ہونا چاہیے اس موقع پر انہوں نے تمام یرغمالیوں کی رہائی کا مطالبہ بھی کیا۔
ان کا مزید کہنا تھا کہ صرف فلسطین کو ریاست تسلیم کرنا ہی غزہ میں جاری انسانی المیے کو ختم نہیں کرسکتا۔ انہوں نے غزہ میں قحط سالی، تباہی اور مغربی کنارے میں اسرائیلی بستیوں کے پھیلاؤ کی بھی شدید الفاظ میں مذمت کی۔

واضح رہے کہ اس سے قبل آسٹریلیا اور کینیڈا بھی باضابطہ طور پر فلسطین کو ریاست تسلیم کرنے کا اعلان کرچکے ہیں۔
میڈیا رپورٹس کے مطابق آسٹریلیا کی حکومت نے ایک بیان میں کہا ہے کہ فلسطینی ریاست کو باضابطہ طور پر تسلیم کر لیا گیا ہے تاہم فلسطین میں حماس کا کوئی کردار نہیں ہونا چاہیے۔
اس کے علاوہ کینیڈین وزیراعظم مارک کرنی نے اعلان کیا کہ ان کے ملک نے باضابطہ طور پر فلسطین کو ریاست تسلیم کر لیا ہے۔
ان کا کہنا تھا کہ موجودہ اسرائیلی حکومت فلسطینی ریاست کے قیام کے امکانات کو روکنے کے لیے طریقہ کار پر کام کر رہی ہے جو مغربی کنارے میں آباد کاری کی توسیع کی ایک بے لگام پالیسی پر عمل پیرا ہے جو بین الاقوامی قوانین کے تحت سراسر غیرقانونی ہے۔
