آسٹریلیا کے شہر سڈنی میں فائرنگ سے ہلاک ہونے والے افراد کی تعداد 16 ہوگئی، سڈنی واقعے کے ہلاک شدگان میں ایک بچہ بھی شامل ہے۔
آسٹریلوی میڈیا رپورٹ کے مطابق ہلاک ہونے والے بچے نے دوران علاج اسپتال میں دم توڑا، پولیس نے مزید ملزمان کی تلاش ختم کرنے کا اعلان کردیا۔
آسٹریلیا کے شہر سڈنی میں بونڈائی بیچ پر فائرنگ سے ہلاک ہومنے والے افراد کی تعداد 16 ہوگئی ہے، 2 پولیس اہلکاروں اور حملہ آور سمیت 40 زخمی اسپتال میں زیر علاج ہیں۔،
حملہ آوروں کی گاڑی سے دھماکا خیز مواد بھی برآمد کیا گیا ہے، آسٹریلوی اور برطانوی میڈیا کے مطابق ایک حملہ آور کی شناخت سڈنی کے رہائشی نوید اکرم کے نام سے ہوئی ہے۔
سڈنی میں ایک حملہ آور کو احمد نامی مسلمان شخص نے دبوچ کر گرایا، اسلحہ چھیننے کی کوشش میں احمد زخمی بھی ہوا جو اس وقت اسپتال میں زیرعلاج ہے۔
میڈیا رپورٹس کے مطابق واقعہ ایسے وقت پیش آیا جب ساحل پر یہودی تہوار منانے کے لیے دو ہزار سے زائد افراد جمع تھے۔ فائرنگ سے افراتفری پھیل گئی۔
سڈنی واقعے کے فوری بعد پولیس نے علاقے کا محاصرہ کر لیا اور وہاں موجود لوگوں کی محفوظ منتقلی یقینی بنائی، دہشت گرد حملے میں ملوث دونوں شوٹر باپ بیٹا تھے جن کی عمریں 50اور 24 سال تھیں۔
آسٹریلوی میڈیا کے مطابق ایک حملہ آور کو موقع پر موجود ایک بہادر شہری نے اپنی جان پر کھیل کر قابو میں کرلیا اور حملہ آور سے اس کا اسلحہ چھین کر کئی لوگوں کی جانیں بچالیں۔
احمد ال احمد نامی شخص دو بچوں کا باپ ہے، حملہ آور کو روکنے والے بہادر احمد کو بھی بازو پر دو گولیاں لگیں، جو اب اسپتال میں زیر علاج ہے، تاہم اب اس کی حالت خطرے سے باہر بتائی جارہی ہے۔
