کراچی : پاکستان ٹیسٹ ٹیم کے بلے باز فواد عالم نے کہا ہے کہ بابر اعظم بہت بہترین کھلاڑی ہے اس جیسا اسٹرائیک ریٹ آج بھی کسی کے پاس نہیں ہے۔
اے آر وائی پوڈ کاسٹ میں میزبان ایاز سموں سے خصوصی گفتگو کرتے فواد عالم نے کہا کہ بابر اعظم کی صلاحیتوں پر کوئی شک نہیں، جیسی شاندار کارکردگی ان جیسا اسٹرائیک ریٹ کسی کے پاس نہیں۔
ان کا کہنا تھا کہ جو لوگ ان کیخلاف باتیں کررہے ہیں ان کا اپنا کیا اسٹرائیک ریٹ تھا؟ بابر صرف صرف اس لیے بدقسمت رہا کہ اس کو نیچے کے کھلاڑیوں سے کبھی سپورٹ نہیں ملی۔
ہمارے تمام بڑے کھلاڑی کامیاب اس لیے ہوئے کیونکہ ان کے نیچے شاہد آفریدی اور عبدالرزاق جیسے کھلاڑی موجود تھے لیکن بابر اعظم کے پاس ایسے کھلاڑی نہیں تھے۔
اس سے قبل بھی ایک انٹرویو میں فواد عالم کا کہنا تھا کہ بابر اعظم نے تینوں فارمیٹس میں شاندار پرفارمنس دی اور جب اس نے اتنے میچ کھیلے تو اس نے بے شمار قابل ذکر پرفارمنس دی، اب بھی اور ڈومیسٹک کرکٹ میں بھی میں نے دیکھا ہے کہ موجودہ ٹیم میں کوئی بھی ان کے قریب نہیں آتا۔

بھارت نے پاکستان کو ایشیاکپ کے گروپ میچ میں باآسانی شکست دے کر ایونٹ میں فتوحات کے سلسلے کو برقرار رکھا ہے۔
دبئی میں کھیلے گئے ہائی وولٹیج مقابلے کو بھارت نے یکطرفہ بناتے ہوئے پاکستان کو زیر کر دیا۔ گرین شرٹس کے 128 رنز کے ہدف کو بھارت نے صرف 3 وکٹوں کے نقصان پر حاصل کر کے ایونٹ میں دوسری کامیابی حاصل کی۔
واضح رہے کہ میچ میں دونوں ٹیموں کے کھلاڑیوں نے ہاتھ نہیں ملایا، ٹاس کے موقع پر کپتان ایک کے دوسرے کے ساتھ کھڑے ہوئے لیکن ہاتھ ملانے سے گریز کیا۔
میچ کے اختتام پر بھی عمومی طور پر سخت حریف بھی رسمی ہاتھ ملاتے ہیں لیکن بھارتی بلے باز میچ ختم ہوتے ہی میدان سے باہر چلے گئے اور پاکستان کھلاڑی میدان سے اکٹھے ہو کر باہر آئے۔
