لندن : برطانوی شاہی خاندان دنیا بھر میں قومی تشخص، روایت اور وقار ایک علامت سمجھا جاتا ہے، تاہم اس میں جاری کشیدگی ایک بار پھر عروج پر پہنچ گئی ہے۔
برطانوی میڈیا کی رپورٹ کے مطابق شہزادہ ولیم نے اپنی کزنز شہزادی بیٹریس اور شہزادی یوجینی کو اپنے والد شہزادہ اینڈریو سے متعلق سخت انتباہ جاری کیا ہے۔
اس حوالے سے ڈیلی میل میں شائع رپورٹ کے مطابق شہزادہ ولیم نے مبینہ طور پر دونوں شہزادیوں سے کہا ہے کہ وہ اپنے والد شہزادہ اینڈریو پر دباؤ ڈالیں کہ وہ رائل لاج سے چلے جائیں بصورت دیگر ان کے شاہی القابات پر نظرِثانی کی جا سکتی ہے۔
برطانوی شاہی خاندان کے اختلافات میں شدت کا انکشاف معروف برطانوی صحافی ایملی میٹلِس نے کیا ہے، جنہوں نے 2019 میں بی بی سی کے لیے شہزادہ اینڈریو کا ایک خصوصی انٹرویو کیا تھا۔
انہوں نے ایک پوڈکاسٹ میں گفتگو کرتے ہوئے بتایا کہ گزشتہ جمعرات کی شب رائل لاج کے باہر میڈیا میں اس وقت ہلچل مچ گئی جب صحافیوں کو شاہی خاندان کے اندر جاری اس تنازعے سے متعلق نئی معلومات فراہم کی گئیں۔
مذکورہ معلومات کے مطابق شہزادہ ولیم کی ملاقات اپنی کزنز شہزادی بیٹریس اور یوجینی سے ہوئی تھی، جس میں انہیں کہا گیا کہ اگر تم دونوں اپنے والد کو رائل لاج سے منتقل نہیں کرتیں تو تمہارے شاہی القابات کا جائزہ لیا جائے گا۔
میٹلِس نے بتایا کہ فی الحال دونوں بہنیں شاہی خطابات رکھنے کی مجاز ہیں لیکن ان پر دباؤ بڑھایا جا رہا ہے کہ اگر حالات نہ بدلے تو یہ مراعات ختم بھی کی جا سکتی ہیں۔
برطانوی صحافی نے مزید کہا کہ شہزادہ اینڈریو بطور والد اپنی بیٹیوں کو خوش رکھنے اور ان کے خطابات محفوظ رکھنے کے لیے ہر ممکن کوشش کریں گے۔
ڈیلی میل نے اپنی رپورٹ میں ذرائع کے حوالے سے بتایا ہے کہ کنگ چارلس اور شہزادہ اینڈریو کے درمیان رائل لاج کی ملکیت اور رہائش کے معاملے پر کئی ماہ سے جاری اختلافات اب مزید شدت اختیار کرچکے ہیں، اور اب اس تنازعے نے شاہی خاندان کی دوسری نسل کو بھی اپنی لپیٹ میں لے لیا ہے۔
