موبائل فون صارفین کیلیے نئے ڈیجیٹل فراڈ کا خطرہ پیدا ہوگیا، ماہرین نے خطرے کی گھنٹی بجا دی، فون فراڈ نے عالمی سطح پر ہلچل مچادی ہے
مصنوعی ذہانت اے آئی اور ڈیجیٹل فراڈ میں اضافے کے ساتھ ہی عام شہریوں کے لیے یہ سمجھنا ضروری ہے کہ ان سے بچنے کے لیے کیا کیا جاسکتا ہے۔
کیا یہ بات آپ کے علم میں کہ اب ایک چھوٹی سی ڈیوائس کے ذریعے صرف چند کلومیٹر میں موجود صارفین تک لگ بھگ ایک لاکھ پیغامات بھیجے جا سکتے ہیں۔
جی ہاں !! دنیا کے کئی ممالک میں ایسا ہو رہا ہے لیکن سوال یہ پیدا ہوتا ہے کہ کیا پاکستان میں بھی اس ڈیوائس سے لوگوں کو نشانہ بنایا جا سکتا ہے؟
جیسا کہ سب جانتے ہیں کہ کوئی بھی موبائل فون اپنے قریبی موبائل ٹاور سے کنکٹ ہوتا ہے، اس لیے جب یہ ڈیوائس سگنلز بھیجتی ہے تو فون خود بخود اس سے منسلک یا کنکٹ ہوجاتا ہے۔
رپورٹ کے مطابق یئہ ڈیوائس سستی اور باآسانی کہیں بھی لے جائی جاسکتی ہے، اس کے ذریعے بھیجے گئے پیغامات میں موجود لنکس کے ذریعے اسکیمرز آپ کی لاگ ان کی تفصیلات کے علاوہ نجی نوعیت کی بینک معلومات تک بھی رسائی حاصل کرسکتے ہیں۔
دنیا کے کئی ممالک میں ایسا ہوبھی رہا ہے، لیکن یہ جاننا آپ کیلیے کیوں ضروری ہے؟ کیونکہ پاکستان میں بھی آن لائن ٹرانزکشنز عام ہوچکی ہیں۔ اس لیے خدشہ ہے کہ بہت سے صارفین اس فراڈ کا شکار ہوسکتے ہیں۔
ایک جائزے کے مطابق پاکستان میں سالہ2024 کے دوران آن لائن دھوکہ دہی کی کوششوں میں 20فیصد تک اضافہ ہوا۔ اس لیے اگر اگلی بار آپ کو اس قسم کا کوئی بھی مشکوک پیغام یا لنک موصول ہو تو اسے کھولنے میں لازمی احتیاط برتیں۔
واضح رہے کہ حال ہی میں گلوبل اسٹیٹ آف اسکیمر 2025ء نے ایک رپورٹ جاری کی ہے جس میں کہا گیا کہ پاکستانی ہر سال 9 ارب ڈالر سے زائد کے آن لائن فراڈ کا شکار ہو رہے ہیں لیکن بات صرف اتنی سادہ نہیں یہ رقم پاکستان کی کُل جی ڈی پی کا 2.5 فیصد بنتی ہے۔
رپورٹ یہ بھی کہتی ہے کہ صرف پاکستان میں ہی نہیں دنیا کا ہر 10 میں سے 7واں فرد کسی نہ کسی فراڈ کا شکار ہوا ہے جو تقریباً 57 فیصد آبادی ہے۔
ادارے کی ویب سائٹ کے مطابق اب تک دنیا بھر میں 442 ارب ڈالر ڈیجیٹل فراڈ کے ذریعے لوٹے جا چکے ہیں جبکہ 0.05 فیصد ہی مجرمان پکڑے جاتے ہیں۔ دنیا بھر کے 42 ممالک کے 46 ہزار افراد کے سروے کے بعد یہ رپورٹ تیار کی گئی ہے۔
