کراچی : قومی ٹیم کے نوجوان اوپنر صائم ایوب پاک یو اے ای میچ میں بھی کوئی قابل ذکر کارکردگی دکھانے میں ناکام رہے جس پر سابق مایہ ناز بولر سعید اجمل نے انہیں مفید مشورہ دیا ہے۔
ایشیا کپ 2025 میں صائم ایوب اب تک ایک بھی رن بنانے میں ناکام رہے ہیں، وہ عمان، بھارت اور اب یو اے ای کے خلاف میچ میں بھی بغیر کوئی رن بنائے پویلین لوٹ گئے۔
اے آر وائی نیوز کے پروگرام میں گفتگو کرتے ہوئے سابق ٹیسٹ کرکٹر سعید اجمل نے ان کی کارکردگی پر مایوسی کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ جب یہ آئے تھے تو بہت جارحانہ انداز میں کھیلتے تھے لیکن اب وہ جذبہ نظر نہیں آرہا۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ مجھے جو نظر آرہا ہے وہ یہ ہے کہ ان سامنا کرنے والے بالرز ان کی کمزوریوں کو سمجھ چکے ہیں کہ اب ان کو ٹانگ پر بال مارنے بجائے آف سائیڈ پر بال کیا جائے گا تاکہ جلد از جلد صائم کی وکٹ ملے۔
انہوں نے کہا میرا مشورہ یہ ہے کہ صائم ایوب اب موبائل فون اور سوشل میڈیا کو چھوڑ کر اپنے کھیل پر پوری توجہ مرکوز کریں، اور پریکٹس کرتے ہوئے آف سائیڈ پر کھیلنے کی مہارت حاصل کریں۔
سعید اجمل نے کہا کہ بالنگ میں وہ بہت اچھی کارکردگی کا مظاہرہ کررہے ہیں لیکن اب بیٹنگ پر بھی خاص توجہ دینا ان کیلیے بہت ضروری ہوگیا ہے۔
