پاکستان میں تیز رفتار اور جدید ترین ہائی اسپیڈ ٹرین سروس شروع کرنے کا فیصلہ کرلیا گیا، اس منصوبے کے تحت جڑواں شہروں کا فاصلہ صرف 20 منٹ میں طے ہوگا۔
تفصیلات کے مطابق حکومت نے وفاقی دارالحکومت آباد اسلام آباد سے راولپنڈی کے درمیان جدید اور ہائی اسپیڈ ٹرین چلانے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے، اس منصوبے کا فیصلہ وزیرداخلہ اور وزیر ریلویز کی زیرصدارت اجلاس میں کیا گیا۔
اجلاس میں مارگلہ اسٹیشن اسلام آباد سے راولپنڈی صدر اسٹیشن تک ریل منصوبہ جلد از جلد مکمل کرنے پر اتفاق کیا گیا جبکہ آئندہ ہفتے منصوبے کے فریم ورک ایگریمنٹ کو حتمی شکل دے کر دستخط ہوں گے۔
اعلامیے کے مطابق ہائی اسپیڈ ٹرین سے اسلام آباد اور راولپنڈی کے درمیان سفر 20 منٹ میں طے ہوگا، جس سے وقت اور ایندھن کی بچت ہوگی جبکہ جدید اور تیز رفتار ٹرین سے ٹریفک کا دباؤ بھی کم ہوگا۔
اجلاس میں فیصلہ کیا گیا کہ تیز رفتار ٹرین کے لئے ٹریک وزارت ریلویز دے گی اور ریل سروس کا انتظام سی ڈی اے سنبھالے گی جبکہ اجلاس میں ریل سروس کے لیے جدید ٹرین امپورٹ کرنے پر بھی اتفاق کیا گیا۔
اس موقع پر وزیر ریلوے حنیف عباسی نے کہا کہ جڑواں شہروں کے درمیان ریل سروس کا آغاز عوامی فلاح کا بہترین منصوبہ ہوگا، شہری تقریباً 20 منٹ میں جڑواں شہروں کے مابین تیز اور آسان سفر کر سکیں گے۔

وزیر داخلہ محسن نقوی کے مطابق یہ منصوبہ وزیراعظم کےعوامی ریلیف کے وژن کا عکاس ہے، منصوبے کی تکمیل سے ہزاروں شہریوں کو سفر کی جدید اور معیاری سہولت ملے گی۔
