کراچی : ملیر ندی میں پانی سطح میں اضافے کے بعد 3 کاز وے بند کردیے گئے، ٹریفک پولیس نے گاڑیوں کو متبادل راستوں کی جانب موڑ دیا۔
ڈی سی کورنگی مسعود بھٹو نے اے آر وائی نیوز سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے بتایا کہ کورنگی کاز وے ندی، کورنگی کراسنگ اور گلشن حدید لنک روڈ حیدر آباد جانے والا ٹریک زیادہ پانی آنے کے باعث ٹریفک کے لیے بند کر دیا گیا ہے۔
انہوں نے بتایا کہ ٹریفک پولیس نے صورتحال پر قابو پاتے ہوئے آنے جانے والی گاڑیوں کا رخ متبادل راستوں کی جانب موڑ دیا ہے۔
ڈی سی کورنگی مسعود بھٹو کا کہنا تھا کہ ملیر ندی میں پانی سطح کافی حد تک بڑھ چکی ہے، کورنگی آنے اور جانے والے شہری جام صادق پل استعمال کرسکتے ہیں، ملیر ندی میں پانی کی سطح کم ہونے پر تینوں کازوے کھول دیے جائیں گے۔
ٹریفک کو متبادل راستوں قیوم آباد سے گودام چورنگی کی طرف اور سی این جی کٹ سے گودام چورنگی کی جانب بھیجا جا رہا ہے۔
تازہ ترین اطلاعات کے مطابق شہر قائد میں کئی گھنٹوں سے ہلکی اور تیز بارش کا سلسلہ جاری ہے جبکہ برساتی نالوں اور ندیوں میں شدید طغیانی ہے۔

واضح رہے کہ کراچی کے مضافات کی ندیوں میں پانی کے بہاؤ میں اضافے کے بعد ملیر اور لیاری ندی کی سطح بلند ہونے سے سیلابی پانی گھروں میں داخل ہوگیا۔
بلوچستان کیرتھر پہاڑی رینج اور گڈاپ کاٹھور میں بارش کا سلسلہ جاری ہے۔ بارشوں کے باعث کراچی کے مضافات میں مول ندی، کھدیجی ندی، جرندہ ندی میں پانی کے بہاؤ میں اضافہ ہوگیا ہے، چاروں ندیوں کا پانی اکٹھا ہو کر ملیر ندی میں شامل ہونے سے ملیر ندی کی سطح بلند ہوگئی۔
