کراچی : دنیا کے بڑے شہروں میں شمار کیے جانے والے شہر کراچی کی حالت زار قابل ترس ہوچکی ہے، یہاں کی ٹوٹی سڑکوں ابلتے گٹر اور بے ہنگم ٹریفک نے شہریوں کو عذاب میں مبتلا کیا ہوا ہے۔
شہر قائد کی متعدد سڑکیں ٹوٹ پھوٹ جانے کے باعث لوگوں کی زندگیاں خطرے میں ہیں اور اس کے نتیجے میں گاڑیاں بھی خستہ حالی کا شکار ہوجاتی ہیں۔
شہریوں کا شکوہ ہے کہ اوّل تو سڑکیں بنتی ہی نہیں اور اگر بن بھی جائیں تو اتنے خراب مٹیریل سے بنائی جاتی ہیں کہ ایک سے دو ماہ بعد ہی اس میں ٹوٹ پھوٹ ہونا شروع ہوجاتی ہے۔ یونیورسٹی روڈ اور دیگر اہم سڑکیں اسی خرابی کی زندہ مثالیں ہیں۔
ان ہی میں ایک بدترین سڑک نارتھ کراچی کی ’فور کے چورنگی‘ سے صائمہ ولاز تک جانے والی بھی ہے جس کے ذریعے شہریوں بڑی تعداد روزانہ گزرتی ہے، ان کا کہنا ہے کہ ان گڑھوں کی وجہ سے ہماری گاڑیاں تباہ ہوجاتی ہیں اور حادثات بھی روز کا معمول بن چکے ہیں۔
اس حوالے سے جماعت اسلامی کے ٹاؤن چیئرمین محمد یوسف کا کہنا ہے کہ فور کے چورنگی والی سڑک کی تعمیر و مرمت ان کی ذمہ داری نہیں اس کے باجود عوام کی مشکلات دیکھ کر وہاں کا کام کئی بار کرایا ہے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ جب تک سیوریج کا کام باقاعدگی سے نہیں کرایا جائے گا تب تک سڑک کی حالت ٹھیک نہیں ہوسکتی۔
