لندن : برطانیہ میں چوروں کے بہت بڑے منظم گینک کیخلاف گرینڈ آپریشن میں ایک دکان سے ہزاروں پاؤنڈ مالیت کے چوری شدہ موبائل فونز اور گیم کنسولز برآمد کرکے 32 ملزمان گرفتار کرلیے گئے۔
برطانوی میڈیا رپورٹ کے مطابق پولیس نے دارالحکومت لندن میں دکانوں سے چوری کرنے والے ایک منظم گروہ کے خلاف کامیاب کارروائی کی اس دوران ایک خفیہ کمرے سے 50 ہزار پاؤنڈ مالیت کے گیم کنسولز، ہزاروں موبائل فونز اور دیگر قیمتی سامان برآمد کرلیا گیا۔
گیم کنسول ایک الیکٹرانک ڈیوائس ہے جو بچوں کے ویڈیو گیمز کھیلنے کے لیے استعمال ہوتی ہے، اسے ایک مربوط سسٹم کے تحت کسی مانیٹر یا ٹی وی اسکرین سے منسلک کیا جاتا ہے۔
پولیس کی یہ کارروائی “آپریشن زوریڈن” کے تحت کی گئی، جس کے دوران دو روز میں 120 سے زائد دکانوں پر چھاپے مارے گئے، یہ لندن میں شاپ لفٹنگ (دکانوں سے چوری) کے خلاف اب تک کا سب سے بڑا کریک ڈاؤن قرار دیا جا رہا ہے۔
لندن پولیس کے مطابق رواں سال لندن میں دکانوں میں لوٹ مار کے واقعات میں 54 فیصد اضافہ ریکارڈ کیا گیا ہے اور مارچ کے مہینے تک 90 ہزار سے زائد وارداتیں رپورٹ ہوچکی ہیں۔
ملزمان کیخلاف کارروائی سے متعلق پولیس حکام نے بتایا کہ آپریشن کے دوران وولِوچ کے علاقے میں ایک دکان پر چھاپہ مارا گیا تو انکشاف ہوا کہ لکڑی کے پینل کے پیچھے ایک خفیہ راستہ ہے جو تہہ خانے میں جاتا ہے۔
پولیس جب تہہ خانے اندر پہنچی تو وہاں سے 2 ہزار موبائل فونز اور الیکٹرانک ڈیوائسز برآمد ہوئیں، جن میں سے کچھ سامان جعلی بھی تھا۔
اسی دکان کے دوسرے خفیہ حصے میں پچاس ہزار پاؤنڈ مالیت کے گیمنگ کنسولز رکھے گئے تھے، پولیس حکام کے مطابق یہ اب تک کا سب سے بڑا شاپ لفٹنگ کیس ہے۔
پولیس نے بتایا کہ ایک اور کارروائی میں بروملی میں چھاپے کے بعد علم ہوا کہ اس دکان میں چوری شدہ لیگو سیٹس اور بیوٹی پراڈکٹس فروخت کیے جارہے تھے، اسی کیس سے منسلک ایک گھر سے 70 ہزار پاؤنڈ نقدی اور مہنگی گھڑیاں برآمد ہوئیں۔
اسی طرح ولیسڈن کے ایک اسٹور سے 1ہزار500 پاؤنڈ مالیت کے اسٹاربکس ٹریول مگ، واٹر اسٹونز کی چھتریاں اور خصوصی ڈیزائنر چشمے ضبط کیے گئے۔
پولیس حکام نے میڈیا کو بتایا کہ چور اب بڑی دکانوں کو نشانہ بنا کر آرڈر پر چوری کرتے ہیں، یعنی وہ مخصوص سامان چرا کر ان دکانداروں کو دیتے ہیں جو چوری کا مال خرید کر کم قیمت پر فروخت ہیں۔
پولیس نے بتایا کہ تازہ چھاپوں کے دوران 32 ملزمان کو گرفتار کیا گیا ہے، ان پر چوری کا سامان رکھنے، منشیات کے جرائم اور امیگریشن قوانین کی خلاف ورزی کے الزامات ہیں۔
