سانحہ لاس اینجلس : چیٹ جی پی ٹی کی مدد سے آگ لگانے والا ملزم ڈرامائی انداز میں گرفتار، حیرت انگیز انکشافات
فلوریڈا : امریکا کے شہر لاس اینجلس کے جنگلات میں رواں سال لگنے والی خوفناک آگ کے واقعے کا ڈراپ سین ہوگیا، پولیس نے ملزم کو 9 ماہ بعد شواہد کے ساتھ گرفتار کرلیا۔
امریکی میڈیا رپورٹ کے مطابق امریکی حکام نے نو ماہ کی مسلسل تحقیقات کے بعد آخر کار اُس ملزم کو گرفتار کرلیا ہے جس پر الزام ہے کہ اُس نے یہ خوفناک آگ جان بوجھ کر لگائی تھی۔
لاس اینجلس کی تاریخ کی بدترین آگ پالی سیڈز فائر کے پیچھے چھپے راز سے بالآخر پردہ اٹھ گیا جس کے بعد سنسنی خیز حقائق سامنے آئے۔ ملزم نے آگ لگانے کی واردات کا طریقہ چیٹ جی پی ٹی سے سیکھا اور اس پر عمل کیا۔
آگ لگنے کا یہ واقعہ یکم جنوری 2025 کو لاس اینجلس کے مضافاتی علاقے میں پیش آیا تھا، جس نے چند روز میں ہزاروں ایکڑ جنگلات اور بستیاں راکھ کر ڈالی تھیں۔
سرکاری اعداد و شمار کے مطابق آتشزدگی سے 12 افراد جل کر ہلاک جبکہ 7 ہزار سے زائد مکانات و عمارتیں تباہ ہوگئیں، نقصانات کا تخمینہ 150 ارب ڈالر سے زیادہ لگایا گیا۔
تحقیقات کے مطابق گرفتار 29 سالہ ملزم جوناتھن رِنڈرکنِک ہُٹ ایک اوبر ڈرائیور ہے، جس نے سال نو کی رات ایک پہاڑی راستے کے قریب جھاڑیوں میں آگ لگائی۔
تخریب کاری کی واردات سے کچھ دیر قبل وہ اسی مقام پر اپنے مسافروں کو اتار کر گیا تھا، گواہان کا کہنا ہے کہ اُس وقت وہ بےچینی اور غصے کی حالت میں نظر آ رہا تھا۔
ابتدائی کارروائی میں اس آگ کو بجھا دیا گیا تھا لیکن زمین کے اندر دبی چنگاریاں دوبارہ بھڑک اٹھیں اور دیکھتے ہی دیکھتے پورا علاقہ جل کر راکھ کے ڈھیر میں تبدیل ہوگیا۔
استغاثہ کے مطابق ملزم کو آگ اور تباہی کے مناظر سے گہرا لگاؤ اور دلچسپی ہے۔ چند ماہ قبل اُس نے چیٹ جی پی ٹی سے ایک تباہ شدہ شہر کی تصویر تیار کروائی تھی، جس میں ایک طرف جلتا ہوا جنگل اور دوسری جانب آگ سے بھاگتے لوگ دکھائے گئے تھے۔
آتشزدگی کے وقت وہ ایک فرانسیسی ریپر جوسمین کا وہ گانا سن رہا تھا جس کی ویڈیو میں گلوکار خود مختلف مقامات پر آگ لگاتا ہے۔
واقعے کے فوراً بعد ملزم نے فائر بریگیڈ کی گاڑیوں کا پیچھا کیا اور آگ بجھانے کی ویڈیوز بھی ریکارڈ کیں جو بعد میں اس کے فون سے برآمد ہوئیں۔
مزید حیرت انگیز بات یہ ہے کہ آگ لگنے کے فوری بعد ملزم نے چیٹ جی پی ٹی پر یہ سوال ٹائپ کیا کہ ’اگر آگ سگریٹ کی وجہ سے لگ جائے تو کیا یہ میری غلطی ہوگی؟”
گرفتاری کے بعد ابتدائی تفتیش کے دوران اُس نے جھوٹ بولا کہ وہ جائے وقوعہ سے کافی دور تھا مگر بعد ازاں شواہد دکھانے پر اس نے آگ لگانے کے درست مقام کی نشاندہی کردی۔
امریکی حکام نے اسے فلوریڈا سے گرفتار کرکے کیلیفورنیا منتقل کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے، جہاں اُس پر آگ لگانے اور تباہی پھیلانے کے الزامات کے تحت مقدمہ چلایا جائے گا۔
