ٹیکس نادہندگان ہوشیار ۔۔حکومت کا بڑا اعلان
وفاقی وزیر خزانہ شوکت ترین نے واضح کیا ہے کہ ٹیکس نہ دینے والوں کو نوٹس نہیں دیں گے ، ان کی آمدنی بتائیں گے ،22 کروڑ کی آبادی میں صرف 20 لاکھ افراد ٹیکس دیتے ہیں، چند ہفتوں میں بغیر نوٹس کے ٹیکس نادہندگان کے پاس ایف بی آر پہنچ جائے گا، ٹیکس نا دہندگان کو کسی بھی صورت ہراساں نہیں کیا جائے گا،ہم ٹیکنالوجی کے ذریعے ہر شخص تک پہنچیں گے، اگر پھر بھی ٹیکس ادا نہیں کرتے تو قانونی کارروائی کریں گے۔
جمعہ کو یہاں اسلام آباد میں میڈیا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے شوکت ترین نے کہا کہ ہم ان کو ہراساں نہیں کریں گے، ان کے سامنے ڈیٹا رکھیں گے، ہم ان تک پہنچ چکے ہیں بس سوئچ آن کرنا ہے۔شوکت ترین نے کہا کہ چند ہفتوں میں بغیر نوٹس کے ٹیکس نادہندگان کے پاس ایف بی آر پہنچ جائے گا، ٹیکس نا دہندگان کو کسی بھی صورت ہراساں نہیں کیا جائے گا۔شوکت ترین نے کہا کہ ہمارے پہنچنے سے پہلے پہلے کہنا چاہتا ہوں کہ غیر رجسٹرڈ افراد ٹیکس دینا شروع کردیں، اگر اس منصب پر رہا تو نہ صرف سب کو انکم ٹیکس بلکہ سیلز ٹیکس بھی دینا پڑے گا۔ ہمارے پہنچنے سے پہلے آپ لوگ ٹیکس ادا کریں۔وزیرخزانہ نے کہا کہ گڈز پر سیلز ٹیکس وفاق کا دائرہ اختیار ہے، چیئرمین ایف بی آر نے ٹیکس دہندگان کی زندگی کو آسان بنادیا ہے، ٹیکس کی ادائیگی سے ہی ملک میں پائیدار ترقی ہوسکتی ہے، ٹیکس کا نظام خود کار بنانے کے لئے آسانیاں پیدا کی ہیں۔وزیرخزانہ نے کہا کہ ٹیکسوں کو سادہ کرنے سے زیادہ ٹیکس ملتا ہے، جب کوئی ٹیکس ادا نہیں کرے گا تو ترقی کیسے کریں گے۔شوکت ترین نے کہا کہ بیرون ممالک میں اگر آپ ٹیکس نہیں دیتے تو آپ کا ووٹ نہیں بنتا۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ منی بجٹ بل پیسہ اکھٹاکرنے کیلئے نہیں ہے ۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ملک کے2ارب لوگوں کو نوکریوں ،گھروں کی ضرورت ہے، ادھار لےکر ہم اپنا کرنٹ ایکسپینڈیچر ادا کرتے ہیں۔
